The 2007 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration was held at Liberty Center in the Liberty City Hall on January 13, 2007. Guest speakers included, Liberty County Judge Phil Fitzgerald, Liberty Mayor Carl Pickett, State Representative John Otto and State Representative Dr. Alma A. Allen of Houston. Saturday afternoon was a day of celebration and for the entire community, with the Liberty Mass Choir and Praise Dancers.
