Cleveland Man Shot in Houston HOUSTON, December 13, 2004 - Houston police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 5810 Fondren on Saturday, December 11, 2004, about 11:40 p.m. The injured victims in this incident are Mauricio Gomez, 40, of 3011 Dabney Bottom Road, Cleveland, Texas, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, Francisco Santana, 21, 14501 Empanada, who suffered a gunshot wound to the left buttocks, and Rodolfo Santana, 20, 5810 Fondren, who suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and abdomen. HPD Homicide Division Officer H. Chavez and Sergeant A. Carrillo reported: M. Gomez, F. Santana, and R. Santana were working on a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex when three unknown suspects, described as Hispanic males, drove up in a red 4-door Ford Taurus or Escort. Two of the suspects exited the car while the third suspect acted as a look out. The two suspects demanded money from the victims and began taking their jewelry. The suspects then began shooting at the victims, striking all three of them, and then got back into their vehicle and left the area.
