New H-D Fire Truck Responds to Call

HARDIN, December 7, 2004 – This afternoon the Hull Daisetta Fire Department responded to a call for mutual aid to fight a house fire in Hardin utilizing the department’s most recently acquired fire truck.

This was the second call the fire truck had responded to, having only been acquired by the Hull Daisetta Volunteer Fire Department approximately two weeks ago. The fire truck was purchased from the Mont Belvieu Fire Department.

The truck is equipped with a 2500-gallon water tank and has the capability of applying foam to fires.

The truck’s ability to transport a large amount of water was very useful in fighting this afternoon’s fire.
