Feds Indict Man In Case of Missing League City Girl

HOUSTON, December 22, 2004 - Federal kidnapping charges could land 22-year-old Paul Bennett in prison for life.

Bennett was indicted today in the kidnapping of 13-year-old Katie Wilkerson of League City.

Investigators believe Wilkerson left League City with Bennett in late October after the two had developed a relationship on the Internet.

Bennett was arrested one month later in San Francisco after being found by FBI agents in a park with the missing teen.

She is back at home with her family, while he now faces 20 years to life and a fine of up to $250 thousand.
