Sheriff’s Department Investigates Death of Woman

CLEVELAND, November 15, 2004 – According to Sheriff’s Department Investigators, EMS Personnel requested assistance with a female who was thought to have suffered an overdose on in the very early hours of Sunday morning.

Cleveland EMS transported her to Cleveland Regional Medical Center where she was treated for an overdose. The woman latter died around 10:00 AM on Sunday and Justice of the Peace Ronnie Davis ordered an autopsy.

The results of the autopsy performed today ruled out overdose as the cause of death. The woman, whose name was not released, is a 39 year old, white female of Plum Grove Road south of Cleveland, TX.

The investigation into the events surround the woman’s death continues by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department.
