Pickup Strikes Cow on CR 2009 North of Hardin

HARDIN, December 13, 2004 - Early on Monday evening, Kayla Potetz age 21 of Hardin was traveling south on CR 2099 north of Hardin when the Black Chevy Silverado Pickup she was driving struck a red cow running toward her vehicle on a bridge.

The vehicle suffered major front-end damage, however, no one was injuring the accident.

According to DPS Trooper Sean Cheshire the cow which was lying in the roadway after the accident may have been the same one law enforcement officers tried to get off of the roadway Sunday night while responding to a citizen complaint.

The cow had a similar brand to the one that officers responded to last evening.
