DAYTON, November 13, 2004 - It was 11:15 PM on Friday when a two-vehicle accident involving a Chevy Pickup and a Harley Davison Motorcycle occurred on FM 1960, west of Dayton, near the Huffman Horse Auction Barn.

According to investigating DPS Troopers, two H-D Motorcycles were traveling east on FM 1960. The riders were going to make a right turn into the Outlaw Ray’s Saloon adjacent to the Horse Barn. A female rider on the bike in the right portion of the eastbound lane attempted a right turn into the driveway and was on the improved shoulder, when an eastbound 2004 Chevy pickup passed the pair on the right shoulder. The pickup struck the bike sending it and its rider into the ditch.
