TVE Seeks Nominations for Directors

LIBERTY, November 18, 2004 - The 2004 Trinity Valley Exposition concluded on October 23rd following a successful event.

The livestock sale held on Friday October 22nd had a $10,000.00 increase over last year’s sale.

Big thanks goes out to the many people who helped make this event successful including volunteers, buyers, sponsors, exhibitors, and everyone who attended this year’s event.

The board of directors is currently seeking nominations for directors. The TVE is overseen by a 12 member board of directors. These directors meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. A person must be a resident of Liberty or Chambers County to sit on this board. Directors are elected to a 2 year tem and can serve no more than 2 terms consecutively. Elections will be held at the January 2005 meeting. The nominating committee will meet prior to the December 14th board meeting and submit a slate of directors.
