Truck Rolls Over on FM 1011

LIBERTY, November 5, 2005 – shortly after midday on Sunday a red Ford flat bed truck rolled over on FM 1011 in a curve.

According to DPS Trooper Robert Willoughby, the truck was traveling north on FM 1011 at unsafe speed when it left the roadway to the right, came back onto the roadway crossing both lanes of traffic, rolled over and crashed into the tree line on the west side of the road.

The driver of the truck was Dustin Kent Beasley age 21 of Liberty. There were three passengers in the vehicle, some not wearing seat belts, at the time the truck rolled over. Luckily the driver and passengers sustained only scrapes and bruises and the responding Liberty County EMS Ambulance transported no one.

According to DPS Trooper Willoughby, any citations in the accident are a matter of the continuing investigation by the department.
