Diane Huddleston is a native of Liberty. She started her banking career in 1982 as consumer loan officer for University Savings. In 1984, she returned to Liberty to work at Liberty County Federal Savings and Loan as a real estate loan officer. In 1991, she left the savings and loan to work as an insurance agent at Texas Farm Bureau. In 1995, she took on the assignment as president of the Liberty branch of what is now Wachovia Bank. During her working career, she has worked as a lending officer, branch manager, insurance agent and licensed broker. She has been involved in various community activities such as president of the Rotary Club of Liberty, chairman of Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce, director of local YMCA and chairman of the TVE Scholarship Committee. Concerning her new position, she stated, I love working in the Liberty-Dayton community. This is my home so I want to see the area grow and prosper.
