Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club Meeting Dec. 9

LIBERTY, November 29, 2006 - The Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club will host a presentation by noted bird enthusiast David Bradford at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the First Liberty National Bank, located at 1900 Sam Houston in Liberty. His presentation will be on "Birds of Southern California." It is free and the public is invited. Call Stuart Marcus at 936/336-9786 for details.

David Bradford has been leading tours for Penfeathers since 1989. He has led tours to Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Texas, and Washington State. David is the past Chairman of the Ornithology Group of Houston, past Sub-regional Editor for Field Notes, past Houston Audubon Society Vice-President for Programs, and past Executive Vice-President of the Outdoor Nature Club of Houston. David annually leads field trips for local bird clubs and gives presentations on the many places he has traveled.

California is a must place for all birders with its diverse habitats, splendid scenery, and large number of birds. His presentation will take us along on typical tour of Southern California from San Diego up to Monterey Bay. Future tours for David include West Texas (06), Michigan and New England (07).
