Teenager Escapes Injury in Roll Over Accident

DAYTON, December 26, 2006 - The Westlake Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on FM 1409 at CR 444 around 7:57 PM on Tuesday.

DPS Trooper John Hutzler investigated the accident and determined that the driver, Celisse Deanne Reasoner, age 18 of Dayton was driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to Hutzler, Reasoner, driving a Chevy Cavalier, was traveling south on FM 1409 from Dayton at around 80 miles per hour to make it home in time to meet a curfew, when a rabbit ran across the road in front of her vehicle. She lost control, crossed the ditch and rolled over at CR 444.

According to Hutzler, Reasoner was not injured in this roll over accident largely due to the fact she was wearing a seat belt.

Reasoner was issued a citation for Driving Under the Influence and Unsafe Speed.
