Annual Christmas Bird Count

LIBERTY, December 18, 2006 - Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge will be hosting its 11th Annual Christmas Bird Count, Tuesday December 26th.

Bird Counters will meet at the Exxon Gas station on Hwy 105, about 2 miles east of Hwy 321 at 7:00 am. The gas station is located in Tarkington, about 8 miles southeast of Cleveland, TX.

Bring a lunch and boots that can get wet since we will be birding the "bottoms" and adjacent prairie. There is a small fee and if you have any questions please contact Stuart Marcus at 936/336-9786.
