Greg Bogany, 4 others Apprehended in Joint Operation

LIVINGSTON, December 20, 2007 – Sources from the Polk County Sheriff’s department said Thursday that in a joint operation between the local Texas Ranger, Ron Duff and the Polk County Sheriff’s Department Special Response Team, Gregory R. Bogany and 4 others were apprehended in the Indian Hills subdivision in a house on Donna Drive on Wednesday at approximately 7 pm.

Bogany was booked into the Polk County Jail shortly after being apprehended, has been extradited to Montgomery County jail where he will be held without bond for charges in both Polk County and Montgomery County.

Lou Ann Hicks	Gonna Gayle Malner

4 others were arrested at the residence; Edward Allen Dobson, 45, Shawn Steven O’Bannon, 33, Donna Gayle Malnar, 43, and Lou Ann Hicks 44. Dobson, O’Bannon, Malnar, and Hicks have been charged with hindering apprehension/prosecution of known felon. Dobson, O’Bannon, and Hicks are each being held on a 15 thousand dollar bond handed down by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4, Steven McEntyre.
