One Vehicle Crash in Daisetta
DAISETTA, December 21, 2007 - Early Thursday evening a one-vehicle crash occurred in Daisetta on FM 770 at Peach Street.
According to DPS Trooper Jamie Neault, a Red Chevy Cobalt driven by Alice Car age 62 of Daisetta straightened out a curve on FM 770 running through a yard, striking a manufactured home and crashed into a deep ditch.
According to Trooper Neault, Carr thought she may have had a seizure causing her to loose control resulting in the accident.
The homeowner stated at the scene the forced of the collision knock a TV off a table and rattled items in the cabinets of his home.
The Hull Daisetta Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident scene and rescued Carr from her badly damaged vehicle.
Carr was transported by Liberty County EMS to Liberty Dayton Community Hospital in stable condition with only minor injuries.
According to Neault a medical advisory board will possible review Carr’s driver license as a matter of public safety.
