House Passes Spending Bill

WASHINGTON, December 19, 2007 - The 272-142 roll call Wednesday by which the House passed the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations for FY 2008, a spending catchall bill that includes money for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan promoted by the White House.

A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the bill.

Voting yes were 78 Democrats and 194 Republicans.

Voting no were 141 Democrats and 1 Republican.

X denotes those not voting.

There are 2 vacancies in the 435-member House.
