HOUSTON, December 22, 2007 - TONIGHT AND SUNDAY STRONG WINDS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST SHORTLY AFTER SUNSET IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST. WINDS WILL DIMINISH LATE TONIGHT.
A LIGHT FREEZE IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY NORTH OF A LINE FROM BRENHAM TO WILLIS TO TRINITY.
THE COMBINATION OF THE WIND AND TEMPERATURES IN THE 30S WILL
RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S OVER ALL OF
THE AREA OVERNIGHT TONIGHT.
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY A LIGHT FREEZE IS EXPECTED LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY NORTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM COLLEGE STATION TO THE WOODLANDS TO LIBERTY.
