Child Suffers Critical Injuries in Dirt Bike Accident DAYTON, December 25, 2007 - At 12:50 PM on Christmas Day Jason Tucker, Jr. age 11 of Dayton was riding his 2007 Honda C 100 Dirt Bike on private property when he attempted to cross CR 4071 in front of his home.
According to Corporal Cheshire tucker was attempting to jump a mound of dirt near the roadway when the chain on his dirt bike detached from the bike causing he rear whell to lock up. Tucker was thrown from the bike as it landed.
Libery County EMS responded to stablize Tucker who was in difficulty suffering a sever back injury.
Tucker was transported in critical condition to the parking lot of the Brown Elementary School in Dayton where Life Flight landed and flew him to Houston’s Hermann Hospital for treatment.
