Motorcycle Crashes in Dayton on US 90 DAYTON, April 7, 2008 - Around 4:30 PM on Monday, a Motorcycle went out of control on US 90 near the SH 146 intersection and crashed. According to Dayton Police Officer Eric Ibarra, Michael Barbee age 34 of Baytown was traveling east on US 90 when the red light at SH 146 turned yellow.
Barbee sped up to make the light and lost control of his motorcycle. The bike came to rest in front of the Branding Iron Restaurant on US 90.
The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department responded established a temporary landing zone behind the Brookshire Brothers store in Dayton where Life Flight landed and flew Barbee to Hermann Hospital in stable condition with unknown injuries. By Marie Henson
