Driver Suffers Seizure After Accident

HULL, March 19, 2008 - A major accident involving a TexDot Tractor and a Ford Taurus occurred on FM 834 just west of FM 770 in Hull around 6:20 PM on Wednesday.

According to DPS Trooper Troy Dyson, the Ford Taurus traveling west on FM 834 collided with the tractor that was also traveling west pushing it about 150 feet before coming to a stop.

The Ford was driven by John Guedry age 52 thought to be from Louisiana who was traveling with his small black dog. The dog was realeased into the care of a relative who was notified of the accident.

The tractor was driven by Dustin Wilkey of Hardin.

According to Trooper Dyson, Guedry suffered a seizure after the accident and was both disoriented and confused.

Liberty County EMS responded to the scene transporting Guedry to Liberty Dayton Hospital by ground ambulance.

According to Trooper Dyson citations in the accident are a matter of continued investigation by the department.
